Membership: $50.00 Annual Donation (Pays for registration, background check, and processing)

The position of TGG GM requires excellent communication skills, experience in role-playing games, and the desire to want to help veterans struggling with PTSD and associated symptoms with achieving a more rational thought process. The position of Game Master, or Game Host, requires the ability to host up to six players for a weekly game event that lasts a minimum of three (3) hours.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Veteran Status.
  • Familiarity with one of the Major TTRPG (Fallout, Dungeons & Dragons, etc.)
  • Pass a background check: Major Criminal Offenses, Terror Watchlist, Sex Offender.

The ideal candidate(s):

  • Has a suitable environment for gaming, such as a private office or other secure venue, capable of facilitating a private game.
  • Can create, have created, or plan to create a gaming table complete with embedded flatscreen TV in order to conduct gaming.
  • Possess gaming miniatures and dice for use by the players (supplies enough for 6 players.)
  • Conducts maintenance and care of individual and organizational equipment and material.
  • Abides by unit policies, procedures, and SOPs.
  • Maintains a high degree of operational and personal information security.
  • Adheres to the unit safety program.
  • Ensures that individual readiness is maintained.
  • Cross-trains in order to assist in other duties.

Preferences:

  • VA Service-Connected Disability Claim Experience.
  • Professional TTRPG Experience

The most qualified candidate will be required to complete induction educational requirements prior to launch of gaming venue.
