Instant Membership
By completing the requirements on this page, you will instantly begin your journey with United States Rescue
United States Rescue prospective members turn in to members once this page is completed. Once you have completed your membership, you’ll appear on our internal roster as a United States Rescue Detached Member. Detached Members are on call to assist Federal, State, and Local Police, Fire, Medical, and Search and Rescue as required and within their area and availability. This requires the completion of free online courses that members complete at their leisure prior to participating in ground search and rescue operations. Detached members may serve in the operations center assisting the Incident Commander prior to completion of required training.
Upon completion of Instant Membership, you’ll receive a receipt for your donation. Within 72 hours you will receive a link to complete a brief personal details form an upload a passport photo-style selfie for your official United States Rescue Membership ID Card. Your ID Card is required to participate in Search and Rescue Operations and/or to serve the FEMA Certified Incident Commander. USR Members offset Search and Rescue efforts in your area.
In addition to your USR Identification Card, you must purchase our uniform top, a bright orange tactical-style shirt. Once you complete your personal details dossier, we will request your sizing information. These shirts should be worn with durable pants. The official USR uniform pants are OCP/Scorpion Uniform Pants and may also be acquired from our supply, along with durable boots. The official U.S. Rescue field uniform costs roughly $100.00.
